Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

The short version: FitCue has no accounts and no ads. Your answers, workouts and progress stay on your iPhone. The only data that leaves your device is what Apple and our payment processor need to run your subscription.

1. Who we are

FitCue is operated by AJ Abdi, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the limited personal data described in this policy. Contact: support@fitcue.co.uk.

2. What the app stores on your device

When you use FitCue, the following is stored locally on your iPhone only:

None of this is transmitted to us. We cannot see it. Deleting the app, or using "Erase my data and start again" in the You tab, removes it.

3. What leaves your device

4. What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, health records or HealthKit data. FitCue does not read from or write to Apple Health.

5. Notifications

Workout reminders and the trial-ending reminder are local notifications, scheduled on your device. There is no push server and no push token. You can switch them off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings at any time.

6. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

Where limited personal data is processed for subscriptions, we rely on the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — providing the subscription you have purchased — and legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in preventing fraudulent use of subscriptions.

7. How long data is kept

On-device data stays until you delete it or the app. Subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat in line with their own policies and legal obligations.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Because we hold almost nothing about you, the fastest route for on-device data is the in-app erase option. For anything else, email support@fitcue.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Children

FitCue is not directed at children. You must be old enough to hold an Apple ID and agree to these terms in your country.

10. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the "last updated" date, and note the change in the app's release notes.
